Rachel Brathen, a.k.a. @yoga_girl, is one of the most well-known modern yoginis in the social media world, and for a good reason! Her sunny personality, stunning photos, and inspirational thoughts have given many yogis (2 million and counting on Instagram alone) a much-needed push to persevere in their yoga practice.
Now, the beautiful yogini and New York Times bestselling author is showing everyone that being pregnant doesn’t mean you have to completely stop your yoga and asana practice. In fact, we have a feeling that her practice has something to do with that extra healthy, happy, preggy glow she has going on!
Here are some of her beautiful, soon-to-be-yogi-momma photos to inspire and bring a smile to your face. 🙂

Still Flowing Beautifully at 22 Weeks!
Morning F L O W ! I’m in a space right now where I just want to move… 22 weeks tomorrow! Feeling good and strong and healthy and happy but also very, very emotional. Everything I’m feeling lies right at the surface. Pregnancy has a way of making everything feel more urgent, but at the same time it’s giving me perspective and space to sit back and just be. It’s a special thing, growing a human being… That’s for sure! I’m just going with the flow – let’s see we’re this day takes us☺️ It’s Monday peeps! Let’s rock this week????????❤️✨ #pregnancy #yoga #flow #move #yogaeverydamnday
Another thing we love is how Rachel keeps it real in her post captions, even sharing how there are some poses that she can’t and won’t go into as deep as she used to (or at all!) because you DO have to adjust and modify to ensure your baby’s safety comes first. So never force your body into ANY pose that doesn’t feel comfortable.
